Simple Funeral

In Saudi Arabia no caskets are used when a person is buried. Usually the women in the family clean and prepare the body for the funeral by wrapping it in a cloth. The photo above shows the body of the late King Fahd being carried to his grave site by male family members after it arrived to the grave yard in an ambulance, which is the usual method of transportation.
