The Birth of Mary
After being childless for many years Hannah, wife of Imran, pleaded with God for a child and in return she would offer the child into the service of God's house, the temple of Jerusalem. God granted her request and they thanked God for his mercy.
Quran 003.036: When she delivered, she said: "O my Lord! Behold! I am delivered of a female child!" - and God knew best what she brought forth - "And no wise is the male like the female. I have named her Mary, and I commend her and her offspring to Thy protection from the Evil One, the Rejected."

Basic Law: Constituents of Saudi Society
Article 9:
The family is the nucleus of Saudi society. Its members shall be brought up imbued with the Islamic Creed which calls for obedience to God, His Messenger and those of the nation who are charged with authority; for the respect and enforcement of law and order; and for love of the motherland and taking pride in its glorious history.

Mary, Mother of Jesus
The Quran speaks of Mary (called Miriam in Arabic) not only as the mother of Jesus, but as a righteous woman in her own right. The Quran refers to her by name 34 times and chapter 19 in the Quran is named Mary. In the Greek copy of the New Testament Mary is only mentioned 19 times.
