King Fahd bin Abdul-Aziz

The color photograph of King Fahd shows him sitting in a chair wearing traditional Saudi clothing and you can see only the upper part of his body. Covering his hair is a white head cloth (ghutra) held in place by 2 black cords, he has a mustache and a small beard on the lower part of his face. He is wearing a black robe with gold braid down the front edges and on the shoulders covering the white thobe seen underneath.

On the morning of August 1st, 2005, it was announced that King Fahd bin Abdul-Aziz had died.
