The rectangular shaped color photograph has a profile view of a neck and the head of an almost white camel in the foreground. On the camel's neck are branding marks that are almost black. There are 4 straight marks across the neck perhaps 8 inches long and 1 straight mark that crosses and joins the bottom 2 straight marks. There are 2 marks on the camel's face, lower check, that look like upside down Vs. The camel's head is seen against a very bright blue sky and below the sky is the desert and a pile of green hay.

In America cattle are branded with the owner's mark and in Saudi Arabia camels receive their owner's mark. In America the cattle are usually given a single branding mark that is made with a branding iron fashioned with the trademark of the owner on the end that is heated. In Saudi Arabia a single long iron poker is heated and then used to make the unique marks of the owner.
