In this rectangular photograph one large hanging group of yellow dates takes up almost the entire picture. The dates look like a bunch of grapes but with a thousand or two dates attached to a thick stem. On the right hand side of the image you can see part of the brownish trunk and at the top you can see the bottom of a few spiky green leaves.

Some of the dates are harvested at this stage in Saudi Arabia and are a delicious treat.
