A Virtual Tour of Saudi Arabia hosted by an American woman

A color photograph of a woman smiling and standing in the desert with her arms outreached and parallel to the desert ground she is standing on. She is wearing a loosely fitting black garment, a Saudi Arabian Abaya, which covers her body except for her hands. She is also wearing a black scarf that covers her hair. The background is a desert sand color with a light blue sky seen above.

Did you have to wear that Black Thing?

Saudi Arabia has always been shrouded in mystery and when people discover I lived in Saudi Arabia for 8 years they usually have many questions to ask me. This site was created to answer some of those questions. I have filled these pages with information, pictures, experiences and trivia I found interesting.

Saudi Arabia is more than just a desert

The country changed dramatically during the last half of the 20th Century so please take the time to sit back and enjoy this short tour.

Listen to Arabic: Hello, peace be upon you -   assalamu alaikum
